Tansei is licensed for personal or business use. Licenses bought from this website activate one computer at a time, whether that is a Mac or a PC.

If you change computers, we can transfer your license. Email hello@tansei.io.

Mac App Store purchases follow Apple’s terms and are tied to your Apple Account. Windows installs come from the Microsoft Store and unlock with the license key bought here.

You may not resell, redistribute, copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where permitted by law.

Tansei is offered as a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

If you bought direct from tansei.io and something is genuinely wrong that we can't make right, email hello@tansei.io and we'll refund you. Purchases made through the Mac App Store, including refunds, are handled by Apple.

Your content belongs to you.

Items you add to Tansei stay on your computer. We do not access, transmit, or claim ownership of your text, links, files, images, notes, snippets, or other saved items.

Tansei is designed to keep your shelf local and private.

We may release updates to improve performance, add features, fix issues, or maintain compatibility with macOS.

Some features may change over time.

Tansei is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We work to make it reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or available for every use case.

To the extent permitted by law, Tansei and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make changes, we will update the date above. Continued use of Tansei after the Terms change means you accept the updated Terms.
