Your shelf lives entirely on your Mac.

Nothing is uploaded to Tansei's servers. Items are stored as-is, just like files in Finder or notes in Apple Notes.

No account required

Tansei does not require sign-in.

You can use the app without creating a profile or sharing an email address.

No app analytics

The Tansei app does not include analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking.

Deleting items

When you delete something from Tansei, it is removed from your shelf.

Clearing history or emptying the archive permanently removes managed items and cannot be undone.

Permissions

Tansei only asks for macOS permissions when a feature needs them.

You can manage or revoke permissions at any time in System Settings.

Purchases

Payments are handled by our payment provider or the store you purchase through.

We do not see or store your card details.

Website and email

Our website may use cookieless analytics to understand page views. It does not use cookies, build a profile of you, or track you across other websites.

If you contact us or join the waitlist, we use the details you submit only to reply or send Tansei updates.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The date above will show the latest version.
